Accommodation providers subscribing to Verblyf Netwerk services agree to the following terms:

1.1 Non-Refundable Subscription Fees

  • All subscription fees for listing services (starting at R350 per year) are non-refundable once payment is processed. This includes:
    • Annual membership fees.
    • Upgraded packages or additional services.

1.2 Refunds for Technical Issues

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • A significant technical issue, caused solely by Verblyf Netwerk, prevents the provider’s listing from functioning as advertised.
  • The provider reports the issue within 7 days of payment.

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • User error in setting up a profile or listing.
  • Suspension or termination of accounts due to a breach of the Terms of Use.

2. Refund Policy for Guests

Guests using Verblyf Netwerk platforms to book accommodation should note:

2.1 Direct Bookings

  • Refunds and cancellations for bookings made directly through accommodation providers are governed by the provider’s individual policies.
  • Verblyf Netwerk is not responsible for disputes related to refunds or cancellations for direct bookings.

2.2 Third-Party Bookings

  • If a booking redirects to a third-party platform (e.g., Booking.com or Airbnb), the terms of the third-party platform apply.
  • Guests are encouraged to review cancellation policies before completing a booking.

3. Cancellation Policy for Accommodation Providers

3.1 Subscription Cancellations

  • Providers may cancel their subscription at any time. However:
    • No refunds will be issued for unused subscription periods.
    • The listing will remain active until the end of the paid subscription period unless removed manually.

3.2 Breach of Terms

  • If Verblyf Netwerk cancels a subscription due to a provider’s breach of the Terms of Use, no refunds will be issued.

4. Guest Cancellation Policy

4.1 Accommodation-Specific Policies

  • Cancellation terms for guests depend on the policies set by the individual accommodation provider.
  • These terms may include:
    • Deadlines for cancellations (e.g., no refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of check-in).
    • Fees for late cancellations or no-shows.

4.2 Emergencies

Guests must contact the accommodation provider directly in case of emergencies. Refunds for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness or natural disasters) are subject to the provider’s discretion.


5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Force Majeure

Verblyf Netwerk and its associated platforms are not liable for cancellations, losses, or refunds resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns.
  • Strikes or power outages.

In such cases, refunds or alternate arrangements will be handled directly by the accommodation provider.

5.2 Technical Failures

  • Guests experiencing technical failures when making a booking through the Verblyf Netwerk platform may contact us at info@verblyfnetwerk.co.za within 24 hours of the issue.
  • Refunds will only be issued if the technical failure was caused by Verblyf Netwerk and prevented the booking from being completed.

6. Refund and Cancellation Process

6.1 For Accommodation Providers

  • Requests for refunds must be submitted via email to info@verblyfnetwerk.co.za within 7 days of payment.
  • Include:
    • Your account details.
    • Proof of payment.
    • A detailed explanation of the issue.

Refund requests will be reviewed within 14 business days, and decisions are final.

6.2 For Guests

  • Guests must contact the accommodation provider or third-party platform directly for refunds or cancellations.
  • Verblyf Netwerk will not intervene in disputes between guests and providers but may provide support to facilitate communication.

7. Changes to This Policy

Verblyf Netwerk reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through website announcements or email.
